  • Aims of 1st period:
  • To help ss  read the dialogue between Tim and his Mon about his study

    Help ss to use “indirect speech” to report other’s speech. And use should to give advice

    + Objectives: -  By the end of the lesson, students will be able to  understand the dialogue between Tim and his mom, SS’ll able to give advice and recognize the indirect speech.

    + Skill: listen and read

     

    b-     Aims of 2nd period: Practice speaking about the students’ study habits and listening the dialogue between Sarah Chen’s teacher and her mother about her study result.

    + Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk about their study habits and listen for specific information to fill in Sarah Chen’s report card.

    c .Aims of 3rd period: To help students read a text about how to learn new words well for details.

    + Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to improve their reading skill and to understand the text for details, to know some ways to learn vocabulary well.

    d.Aims of 4th period: To help students survey their partners to find how their partners learn English words, they discuss and find out the best way of learning words and learning English for themselves.

    + Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know some ways to learn English well.

    e. Aims of 5th period:  To help students to know the format of a friendly letter and write letters to friends.

    +  Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know the format of a friend letter and write a similar letter to their friends.

    f: Aims of 6th period: Help ss to practice adverbs of manner, modal with should to give advices, practice in Commands and requests, advice in indirect speech.

    + Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to do better in reported speech with Commands and Requests, advice. Further practice the adverbs of manner.
